Due to various natural disasters affecting people from different parts of the country, many were compelled to live a landless life. To rehabilitate them, the then Nepal Resettlement Company Pvt. Ltd., Kanchanpur Plan Office, provided land in 1977 (2034 B.S.). As a result, people began to settle permanently in this area. The Nepal Resettlement Company Pvt.
